Signwriting on glass, using a prismatic capital , block, roman and script lettering for Westport’s quirky boutique wine bar, The Gallery
Hand-painted sign for Walsh’s shop, Mace, with the main lettering and colour scheme based on 19th century railway lettering for an old-timey feel
This sign features a lot of traditional techniques, such as marbling, lining, shading and so on. The basic logotype design is taken from mid-19th century signwriting on the inside of the safe in the old shop.
Two versions of a Westport shopfront, one a flat painted letter with outline and cast shadow, and a subsequent version with painted bevelled face and return, to give an illusion of three dimensions.
